Hello, my name is James Gummerson and I am a web designer, graphic artist, and illustrator living in Hamilton, Ontario. I currently work as a freelancer and enjoy the variation and diversity of projects I have the opportunity to work on. My experience and creativity are truly the foundation of my work and I can say that it is a pleasure to play in this field everyday. It started out as a neat little career as an Illustrator. I had worked for several agencies doing story boards for commercials, illustrations, and print media and web design. I even illustrated a childrens book “One Step at a Time” now available at chapters book stores. Iv’e also managed to keep a successful fine art career.
As well as working for a living, I have a fine art carreer that has really been the source of my creative skills. Its really were alot of my inspiration and skills come from. I have gallery representation, sell my work regularly and spend alot of time up north in the outdoors painting and sketching. I also enjoy playing guitar, taking trips with my little family, golf, and sitting in a canoe fishing while daydreaming my time away.
